Categories used by the Blog in ePet

The following categories are used when exporting information from the ePet Blogging tool. They may not be exhaustive, and some free-text categories and/or categories from the general scheme at http://wiki.cetis.ac.uk/LEAP2A_categories may also be used.

  1. Blog Entry
  2. Comment on a blog entry

Blog Entry (#entry)

This category is used to denote that the Atom/LEAP2A entry in question is definitely a Blog entry and not any other type of record. Omitting this is unlikely to cause issues for any other system as LEAP2A entries always fall back to a general blog entry. However, it has been included for completeness and to distinguish these entries from other types.

Comment on a blog entry (#comment)

This category is used to denote that the Atom/LEAP2A entry in question is a comment on a previous Blog entry. It will usually be 'in_reply_to' that blog entry record, and may or may not have a separate author.
